I forgot to mention that I'm also taking zinc and selenium, but no joy. If my hair gets any thinner, I'm just going to dye it hot pink. Then no one will look past the pink to see the thinning, right?

Here's what i've heard to do: take selenium (50-100mcg/day - MICROgrams) plus zinc (50-100mg/day - milligrams) http://home.comcast.net/~pmbrig/BP_pharm.html if my friend takes them, i'll let you know what her results are. I JUST heard about using selenium containing (dandruff) shampoos, too.

Actually Lamictal has done it to me. My doctor said to use Selson Blue and take folic acid. It's done wonders for my fingernails, but my hair keeps coming out by the roots. Depakote isn't an option for me, it makes me *really* stupid.
