What's your sign?

Could there be a cosmic connection? Beyond the physiological inherited traits potentially exaggerated by environmental triggers, do the stars influence our moods? And speaking of celestial influence, am I the only one who must howl at the moon?

I am a sagitarius. People I know in similiar situations seem to all fall into the same handful of signs. Sag's are generally mood and highstrung anyway. So I really didnt need this extra shit.

          aww, sean ((((hugs))))

you know, i just got attacked by my guy's soon to be ex-wife, and guess what the first wave of attack was ... "she's a fucking bipolar blah b;lah blah .." and the cunt had the nerve to then tell him/us that any children we'd have would be "quadpolar" insinuating he too is bipolar b/c obviously, people like us are too fucking crazy to be loved by anyone but another mental patient.

i may be libra, but that cunt has literally made me see red, and cry blue ...

i hate this fucking illness. i hate that we just have to take what society dishes out to us ... we feel everything so much deeper than they, yet we are not allowed to react to it ...

fucking cunts, and fucking bipolar ...

          grrrrrrrrr.

wanna join my faming angels with bipolar and proud of it because we are touched by fire and you are not! army?

[yah, i did just make it up, but we would be formidable, and have *wicked* cute costumes!]

          ;)

another thing i love about bp's strength is our ability, our attempt to laugh through the pain ...

          ha.

          ha.

          ha?

Hello, I am new to this group, not new to bi-polar, my sign is Cancer/Leo, which sounds bi-polar to me my Sun trines my moon exactly, a help, but my Sun opposes my Saturn/Jupiter conjunction (though sextiling my Moon,) again bi-polar-ish. I am fairly level headed most of the time and other people tell me this, not just my own opinion, but I can still go very up and down from time to time. I get bored with the routine life I have to live in order to stay balanced and so every so often I mix it up a little ; ) medication does not work for me and I have tried many, many kinds and combos. I'm not open about being bi-polar to people who don;t know me well, I don't like putting that label on myself. I also find myself to be an empath, understanding that helped me a lot to realize that the over stimulation I have felt so much of my life, is outside of me, rather than me, very helpful.

Ich bin ein Virgo--but 22 Sep in the afternoon, just a few hours before Libra.

I've never admitted to howling at the moon. I don't know if you mean that literally but I do. For me, I only howl with a dog/dogs, possibly around a person/people who would be inclined to join us.

In the unlikely event that there are not already books on depression/mania from an Astrological point of view, you could write one. Write a few, start having seminars, go on the radio, turn it into a cult. You can cash in and tell all the interviewers you're doing all because you feel strongly compelled to help people.

oooh, im the 23rd!!! you're cuspy too!

i am such a moon grrrrl. the libran full moon we've just had ... fuck!

crazy fucking times - rollercoaster designers should just watch me in action, crying to laughing to horny to furious ... four seasons in one day ...

i also really do wonder how much the biological and physiological diffs btwn man and woman come into play ... i am so synched into the moon, and know that my pms etc is intensified (or hellifiied - i know it's not a word but it shld be!) by my bipolar.
  • what does it all mean??!!

<<well we're a pretty mixed bag... what does it all mean??!! >>

Note sure - but does the fact that several people have been able to say more than simply "Leo" or "Scorpio" but supply a bit of detail and show an awareness of Star Signs demonstrating that members of the tribe know and have an interest in their signs beyond others ?

Or simply that people with an interest in the Zodiac are those who responded ?

Are there members of the tribe who are BP who simply skipped replying in this thread because they do not put much credence in Star Signs ?

Sept 30th Libra Sun, Virgo Moon, Aquarius Rising and almost every other planet Scorpio...

Looks like us September babies carry the weight of the world

Yes, I believe there is an element of one's astrological sign involved in one's mental state. I am a Capricorn with Mercury, Venus, Mars and Saturn also in Capricorn. Saturn is Father time, ruler of conscious and all that is heavy in one's destiny. Sometimes I wonder how I can get up in the morning! Thank goodness I have Gemini rising or I would be the dullest most dour human on the planet! I also have the moon in Scorpio so I tend to be secretive with emotions that run deep and strong. It is no wonder I have dealt with Bipolar illness all my life. My Capricorn side depresses and suppresses me and my Gemini side wants to be the life of the party. It's like being Dr. Jolly and Mrs. Hide - so to speak.

I'm a Saggy, Nov. 29, and my moon sign is pisces (interesting combination) but other than that, I don't remember much of my chart, though I'm working on finding it now.....

hmm, armchair philosophising and intuitiving here -

sagg: fiery, but your piscean moon (water) may help "put out" that fire when it can

aquarius rising - you may be able to detach yourself sometimes - let your emotions run their course ....

not 100% sure if that helps or describes you ... but i know that my libran firesnake with leo ascendant and aquarian moon can sometimes do the same balancing act ... and yes, us poor sept babies ... librans really DO carry the weight of the world (at least the scales) on our shoulders!

        *pout*

I think we are related to the stars, but in a much deeper way than astrology proposes. The chemicals and minerals in our bodies are composed of the same materials that are cooked up inside of stars. As the late Dr. Carl Sagan used say "We are star stuff."

On the other hand I like Sagan am very skeptical about astrology. The positions of some stars, gas giants and big rocks cannot tell us anything about our daily lives or make predictions about them. There have been numerous scientific studies--some of them designed by astrologers and every one of them have revealed the claims of astrology to be false. So even though we are connected to the stars the only one that palys any role in our daily lives is the sun.

I'm Pisces sun but in addition I have quite a few other planets in pisces, overall my chart is overwhelmed with the element of water. I do have a very strong interest in astrology which I've had from a young age.....I guess when you're looking for answers you explore many a different avenue, astrology was just one of mine.

I'm a Libra with moon in Gemini and Aquarius rising.

Seems like all the air people i know especially Libras and Gemini's are bi polar it is weird. I wonder if it is because they are duel signs or because air rules the mind.
